Curacao is hotter than ever, with a wave of latest motels and record-breaking tourism numbers. And only a few months after Delta made its long-awaited return to the island, the service is including much more flights.
The explanation? What Delta calls a response to “booming demand for Curacao’s colourful structure, crystal clear waters and wealthy culinary scene.”
Starting in November, Delta can be increasing its Atlanta-Curacao service from once-weekly on Saturdays to each day service. That enlargement will start Nov. 23, in line with the corporate.
The improved Curacao service will depart Atlanta at 9:45 AM, arriving in Curacao at round 2:45 PM.
Delta is working the flights on Boeing 737-800 service, the corporate stated.
It’s one other increase for an island that continues to see its arrival numbers surge, with a tourism renaissance that largely started with the arrival of the Sandals Royal Curacao resort again in the summertime of 2022.
Since then, Curacao has been rising at a breakneck tempo, notably out of the Unite States market.
In December, Delta made its first flight to Curacao since 2010.
Are you planning a getaway to Curacao? Whereas the island is probably most well-known for its charming, historic capital of Willemstad, there’s a lot extra to Curacao, from world-class luxurious resorts just like the Baoase to the gorgeous, pristine beaches on its western coast.
Vacationers to the Dutch Caribbean hotspot will even discover a thriving meals scene, buoyed by the latest entry of the Brass Boer, from the workforce behind the three-Michelin-star Die Librije restaurant in Holland (and the Brass Boer in Bonaire, named the number one restaurant in the Caribbean for 2 consecutive years).
And Sandals isn’t the one new property. The historic Kura Hulanda has gotten a significant facelift (and a relaunch as an adults-only resort), and Hilton simply opened a brand new all-inclusive resort called The Rif at Mangrove Beach. The latter is a part of an increasing variety of all-inclusive resorts on the island, from manufacturers like Hyatt to Wyndham’s Trademark Assortment.
